Good Old Matthew Dear. Shaking buns and breaking minds.
Full set here.
The rest of my fantastic fest coverage is up for Sound on Sight! As usual, this festival was outstanding, and my coverage doesn’t even include some of the best films that played. You can catch all of my reviews from all eternity here, and all of the SoS Fantastic Fest coverage here. Here is the rest of the FF2012 coverage:
Sightseers, American Mary, Red Dawn, The American Scream, Vanishing Waves, The Final Member
My festival favorites (and quite possibly favorite films of the year) were Berberian Sound Studio, Holy Motors, and Sightseers. With special feel-good heart-smiles awards to The American Scream and I Declare War.
Taking off my pretend critic hat for awhile—see ya at SX!
Fantastic Fest 2012 has been typically wonderful and exhausting. I’m furiously working of reviews as we blog here, but I thought I’d post the first round that I have up:
I’ll be back once the fest is finally, mercifully, over with some more reviews. Enjoy!
